The AT32F407E series are based on the high-performance ARM®Cortex®-M4F 32-bit RISC core operating at a frequency of up to 320 MHz. The Cortex®-M4F core features a Floating Point Unit (FPU) single precision supporting all ARM® single-precision data processing instructions and data types. It also implements a full set of DSP instructions and a memory protection unit (MPU) that enhances application security.

The AT32F407E series incorporate high-speed embedded memories (up to 960 Kbytes of Flash memory, and SRAM which can be configured as up to 224 Kbytes), and a wide range of enhanced GPIOs and peripherals connected to two APB buses. Any block of the embedded Flash memory can be protected by the ¡°sLib¡± (security library), functioning as a security area with code-executable only. In addition, the AT32F407E device includes a high-level memory extension: one external memory controller (XMC).

The AT32F407E series offer three 12-bit ADCs, two 12-bit DACs, twelve 16-bit general-purpose timers (including two motor control PWM advanced timers), two 32-bit general-purpose timers, and one low-power RTC. They feature standard and advanced communication interfaces: up to two I2C, three SPIs (multiplexed as I2S), one SDIO, five USARTs, two UARTs, one USBFS, two CAN interfaces, and one Ethernet MAC interface.

The AT32F407E series operate in the -40 ¡ãC to +105 ¡ãC temperature range, from a 2.6 V to 3.6 V power supply. A comprehensive set of power-saving mode allows the design of low-power application.

The AT32F407E offer devices in different package types. They are pin-to-pin, software and functionally compatible throughout the AT32F407E series, except the configurations of peripherals which are not fully identical depending on the package types.
